Throughout the semester, I used an app to help me maintain a healthy lifestyle. This app is called the Nike Training Club. It helps to you to maintain a plan to workout each week and it suggests different types of workouts for you and your body type. For those who have a harder time working exercise into their schedules, this app offers a variety of different options for you to stay motivated and find time to fit exercise into your busy schedule. There are different levels of difficulty offered on the app. They have beginner, intermediate, and advanced. You place yourself in the appropriate category and it will autopopulate workouts that fit the need of your body. This app is fun because it has videos to demonstrate the best method of using the workout and it syncs the music you have on your phone to play while it instructs you what to do. This app has helped me tremendously to stay motivated and have a new fun way to exercise every day. Sometimes after doing the same workouts every single day, it gets repetative. This app has helped to create an new type of interest. It can help in a variety of different ways for any lifelong wellness class. It can be used by students to create workouts to share with the class. For example, a weight lifting class could use this app as a way to create a rotation of lifts for each student for a full class period. This app could help teachers to come up with useful workouts for their specific class. It would make it easier on both the teacher and the student, plus it would make things very organized.
