I had a fun time writing my research project for Business 1010. This project allowed me to look into any career I have the interest to go into. Ever since Jr. High when I was introduced to the pharmacy career by my dad, my curiosity has been spiked. I have wanted to become a pharmacist ever since. This project assigned to me, has given me the opportunity to look into the pros and cons of becoming a pharmacist. Fortunately, as I took the time to research this career, I found that the pros had outweighed the cons. I am still very interested in going into this career. I learned that becoming a pharmacist is not an easy task. I must take at least three years of pharmacy school after taking all my prerequisites, which is an additional two to three years. There are many different options I have within this career. I have the opportunity to work in a compounding pharmacy, retail pharmacy, or even a hospital. I am not limited to just one option. Not only do I get to help people, but the pay for a pharmacist is within the top ten highest paying jobs in the U.S. I have learned many new and intriguing things within this career and I am excited to bust my way up the scale. Below I have my research paper linked for those who would like to look at it.
